If you are unable to link your D-RTK 2 High Precision GNSS Mobile Station For Matrice Series to Matrice Series aircrafts, please contact DJI after-sales representatives for help.

  3. Users of the D-RTK 2 High Precision GNSS Mobile Station can run the unifying firmware update via the aircraft’s operating app or DJI Assistant 2 after the firmware updates for the following products are complete:

    1. Agras T16/T20: V 02.03.02xx and above

    2. Phantom 4 RTK: V 02.02.05xx and above
      Note: Refer to the actual firmware release for what the “xx” stands for in the version number.

  4. DJI will only produce regular D-RTK 2 High Precision GNSS Mobile Stations in the future, which will be compatible with Agras series, Phantom 4 RTK, P4 Multispectral, Matrice 210 RTK V2, and Matrice 300 RTK.
    You can run firmware updates for the Agras series and Phantom 4 RTK through their operating apps or DJI Assistant 2. However, it is recommended to upgrade Matrice series firmware through DJI Assistant 2.

  5. How do I switch between different operation modes after running the unifying firmware update?

    The D-RTK 2 High Precision GNSS Mobile Station supports 5 operation modes for compatibility with different DJI products. Follow these steps:

    1. Long press the mode button for 2 seconds to begin mode-switching (the indicator light will change from green to yellow).

    2. Short press the mode button to switch between modes. The selected mode will activate 2 seconds after selection.

    3. If no action is taken after 2 seconds, the Mobile Station will stay in the current operation mode.

The D-RTK 2 supports four satellite navigation systems: GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and BEIDOU.
It is capable of receiving 11 signals:

There are two main differences:

a. Physical Differences:
D-RTK is a modular setup with two RTK receivers, antennas, and radios—one as base and one as rover.
D-RTK 2 is an all-in-one unit that integrates high-precision receiver and communication links, making setup simpler.

b. Performance Differences:
D-RTK has two versions based on GPS+BDS or GPS+GLONASS, depending on region.
D-RTK 2 is a global version supporting GPS, GLONASS, BEIDOU, and Galileo.
It receives 11 satellite signals with improved antenna quality, leading to better positioning accuracy.

Because the data links are different between D-RTK and D-RTK 2, they are not compatible.

Yes. The Chinese version of the Mobile Station can only be used in Mainland China.
For other regions, always comply with local laws, especially regarding the use of 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz transmissions.

There are three power sources:

  1. Internal battery: WB37 – 4920mAh – 7.6V

  2. External battery: MG12000P

  3. AC power adapter

At least two hours.
The battery can be charged through the external power port on the D-RTK 2 Mobile Station, or it can be removed and charged using a charger.

Yes. When not in use, please remove the battery.
When powered off, the D-RTK 2 Mobile Station enters standby mode. If the battery is left inside, it will stay in standby for 10 days, then automatically power off to protect the battery. After that, the battery will need to be charged or replaced.

When the internal battery is fully charged, the D-RTK 2 Mobile Station will stay on for at least two hours.
If an external power source is connected before the internal battery is drained, it will continue to function without shutting down.
However, if the battery runs out before switching, the Mobile Station will shut down.

If there is a point with known location coordinates, simply place the D-RTK 2 Mobile Station exactly on that point and input the coordinates in the App.
Make sure the distance difference between the input and actual coordinates is less than 5 meters, or the input will not be accepted.

The D-RTK 2 Mobile Station is equipped with a high-performance IMU, which monitors the status of the device and sends that information to the aircraft.
If the station is moved or knocked over, the aircraft will stop performing RTK functions and the remote controller app will display the D-RTK 2 Mobile Station status.

This can be done through the remote controller app.
